Cancellations and refunds

If your flute arrives damaged

Each flute is wrapped securely, so damage in transit is rare. If it happens:

• Record an unboxing video from the moment you start opening the sealed parcel, showing the damage clearly. Refund requests need this video.
• Send the video to sriharsha.ramkumar@gmail.com or WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery, with the name the order was placed under.
• Once I have seen the video, I will refund the full price of the damaged flute. You don’t need to send the flute back unless I ask you to.

If I send the wrong scale

If the flute you receive is not the scale you ordered, tell me within 48 hours of delivery. I will either send the right one or refund you in full, whichever you prefer, and I will arrange the return.

Returns and exchanges

Because each flute is sourced and tested for one order, I can’t take returns or exchanges if you change your mind, or if you later decide you would prefer a different scale. If you are unsure which flute to choose, please ask me before you order.

Cancelling your order

You can cancel within 24 hours of placing your order for a full refund. After that, your flute is already being prepared by the maker, so the order can’t be cancelled.

If I cancel your order

If the delivery address is outside India, if I can’t get a flute that passes my testing within a reasonable time, or if our communication breaks down, I will cancel the order and refund everything you paid, including the courier charge.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the account or card you paid with. Once I approve a refund, your bank or payment provider usually takes 5–7 working days to show it.

What isn't covered

• Cracks, splits or damage that happen after delivery, from drops, heat or dry weather.
• Normal differences in the colour, grain and thread of natural bamboo.
• Wear from regular playing.
